Hey girls and guys! How's everybody's 2017 so far? I've already had such a great start to my year as I got to celebrate it with one of my closest friends who I hosted all the way from Maine, USA! Sadly her quick visit has come to an end, but thankfully it's only a matter of months before we're reunited again.
I have been really excited to share this post with everyone, as not only did I get to attend a really epic fashion show this week, but I managed to capture it all on camera to mark the beginning of a new chapter in my blogging journey - vlogging! So, let me first tell you about the fashion show I attended in Belfast and then you can watch it all at the bottom of the post!
Good evening, lovelies! I have had such a busy summer working and living the USA, which would explain my absence over the last few months! I can't wait to share my experiences and photos with everybody. I have a few exciting projects coming up over the next few months, so watch this space!
The '90s trend is currently taking over. Scrunchies, chokers, platforms and even jelly sandals are the new 'normal' for street style today. Oversized denim jackets are incredibly popular with celebrity figures such as Gigi Hadid and Rihanna - and who doesn't love denim, right?!
Fashionistas from across Northern Ireland flocked to east Belfast store PEEL this week for their Denimtastic event... Featuring brands such as Citizens of Humanity, AG Jeans, 360cashmere, Skull Cashmere and Essentiel Antwerp amongst many others, the mini fashion showcase highlighted the very best way to wear denim this season – a key trend for SS16.
Spring has finally arrived and boy have I been busy. I have had an incredible and hectic week visiting London to celebrate the European premiere of 'Captain America: Civil War.' The atmosphere was indescribable and I can't wait to share my experience with you all!
As a costume designer and design student I am all about praising the future of upcoming fashion here in Northern Ireland. Over the past couple of years there has been huge success with young Irish designers, and it can only get better.
Future fashion designers from across Northern Ireland are this week putting the finishing touches to inspiring collections as they prepare to showcase their latest designs in the hotly anticipated Ulster University Graduate Fashion show which will take place at the Europa Hotel in Belfast on 26 May.
Easter is officially over! Back to work and back to school, no more sleeping in or spending countless hours binge-watching on Netflix. I have been so busy these last few weeks with both college and work. Alongside finishing off two costumes I have designed and constructed, I just completed work on short film 'Fade Away.' More on that to come soon!
It's every student's favourite time of year (apart from Summer, of course). Here's to sleeping-in every morning for the next two weeks and enjoying the little bit of sun we may be lucky enough to spot - it's Easter! If you're anything like me, Easter is a time chill-out one final time before the stress of school or work kicks in. You'll probably take a day trip to the beach and you'll visit your local cinema at least once, but more than likely you will kick back in your comfiest pyjamas and watch some chick-flicks. Myself and my bunny Aurora decided to pull-out and share some of our favourite Easter appropriate films just for you!
